About the role

Grampians Health is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Food & Domestic Services Assistant in the Geriatric Evaluation and Management Unit. Duties will include assisting with food service, cleaning and other duties as required. Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our patients and their families within the Unit

Successful applicants will possess a high degree of flexibility, initiative, have an eye for detail and a willingness to learn.

The successful applicant must be able to provide a high standard of work and have excellent communication skills. The ability to work well with others in the team is important, as is the ability to work without supervision when required.

Successful applicants will be expected to work across a 7 day a week roster which may include public holidays.

Skills and experience

  • Food Handling Certificate (HLTFS207C - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices).
